Warm and Fuzzies are what my sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, calls the little notes we write to each other as a way to lift one another up. My jar of Warm and Fuzzies has been living on my shelf since February of 2023, when I first joined my chapter. Over the semesters, I’ve added to it, whether from planned sisterhood events or little surprise pick-me-up notes from my sisters. At this point, I’ve got well over 50 notes tucked inside the jar, each one holding a special place in my heart.

Our annual Sisterhood retreat is the main source of Warm and Fuzzy notes each year, and this past year’s was my favorite. We all gathered as a chapter—30 of us—and spent hours writing notes for every sister. We cozied up around a bonfire, sharing all the reasons we appreciate and love each other. The reason my jar lives on my shelf is so I can easily grab a note when I’m having a particularly tough day. Each note fills my heart with love and joy, and instantly makes my day better, no matter how hard it had been before.
