Description

Captain Rex is a main character in the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. This Lego set has lived on my shelf since the summer of 2023. Captain Rex is the captain for the 501st unit in the show and also one of my favorite characters. I frequently watched Star Wars: The Clone War while my dad would be deployed. When he would come home from his times away I would always watch the original Star Wars movies with him. No matter the time spent away we always have shared our love of the franchise with each other.

Something else about my dad is that he a certified Lego fanatic, owning over 500,000 bricks. Lego also is a major point of connection in our relationship. I received this set from him the summer of 2023 when I was visiting him in San Antonio, Texas. I nearly built it right then and there. I caught myself before opening the first bag however because I knew it would a pain to pack and travel with once it was built.
