“Miss Creative” is not a new title to me, I’ve been called it many, many times before by my family and close friends. I was awarded this title at the Alpha Gamma Delta – Zeta Upsilon Fall 2023 Formal. I was still a relatively new member at that point in time so I had no idea we all got awards at formal. The awards gave us each a chance to shine individually.

I was recently talking to some of my sisters about that formal and they told me that they couldn’t remember what the award that they had received had even been, but I remember it all so vividly. I can remember my sister’s sweet words to me when she handed me my award. I remember the feeling it provided my heart with as well. While it’s such a small token and pretty flimsy, it’s a knick knack that provides my heart with a little warmth every time I see it.
